I started on this book knowing one thing for certain; I was not the target audience for its message。 However， now that I have read it， I realize that the important learnings contained herein are not confined to those working in people ops！ The book does a nice job of framing the issues （the issues that are everchanging） that affect most workers while providing an effective guide of best practices for those responsible for implementing policies that affect the quality of the modern-day workforce。 I started on this book knowing one thing for certain; I was not the target audience for its message。 However， now that I have read it， I realize that the important learnings contained herein are not confined to those working in people ops！ The book does a nice job of framing the issues （the issues that are everchanging） that affect most workers while providing an effective guide of best practices for those responsible for implementing policies that affect the quality of the modern-day workforce。 It provides easy to comprehend examples and mixes them with the poignancy that is unique to the talented author。 I wasn't expecting a story but was pleasantly surprised to find myself flipping through the pages with ease。 What I have learned from reading this book will make me a better teammate and a more effective communicator。 Definitely recommend。 。。。more
